Daiitokuji Temple is known as one of the best places to enjoy red leaves. Currently it is the Tendai sect, but before the early modern period it was a Shingon / Tendai temple. It is said that the Ennogyojya founded this temple, and since ancient times it has been revered as a sacred place for Katsuragi training. The Tahoto pagoda (made in Muromachi period) in the precincts is designated as a national important cultural property.
At Daiitokuji Temple, there is the 10th sutra mound of "Katsuragi Shugen", which was certified as a Japanese heritage in 2020.

The water of Ushitaki Onsen has a silky feel and high moisturizing properties, and is popular as a "Beauty Hot Spring" that makes your skin moist and smooth.
At the restaurant, you can enjoy everything from authentic Kaiseki (Japanese dishes) to simple meals.
